Today we embark on another Steam summer sale. Share what games you are thinking of buying if they are multiplayer and you want to play it.

My tip is to use https://steamdb.info/sales/ (SteamDB) to find out whether or not a discount matches or exceeds the highest recorded discount of all time. (The entry's % will be green or blue, respectively)
I plan to stick to buying games that have as good or better discounts than they have had before, and also try not to spend more than a hundred bucks total. May make exceptions if it's a 10% difference, of course.

Happy library filling escapades!

PS: If you spot any 4-packs, post them here so we know about them :d

No Pulsar: Lost Colony? Hoping that one will be decently discounted. I don't know why, but I used to think it required VR.

Multiplayer games I have my eye on:
  • Squad
  • Space Hulk: Deathwing
  • Aragami
  • Pulsar: Lost Colony
  • Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance
  • Northgard

Wasn't even aware the game existed until this moment :p I have a version of Supreme Commander, not sure if it's that one. Got it when it was still early access hoping it was as much Total Annihilation esque as it looked, it is not, found it incredibly dull.

Early Access? Supreme Commander is like, older than Steam itself :d

Edit: yeah you have the vanilla game, the one I mentioned is a standalone expansion, it's better and really good for multiplayer.

Yeah, I got it a looooong timea go. It was in early access for quite a while though, and horrifically expensive at the time (Think I paid £50 for it in early access? Ridiculous really, time before refunds unfortunately).

I shan't bother with it, Pulsar looks cool though.

It's a THQ game from 2007, there's no way it was in early access when it came out on Steam 4 years later... 2 years before Early Access even existed.
That said, I only plan to buy the other one, and only if it's 90% :p

I'm thinking of planetary annihilation, FUCK, sorry haha.

You're right, Supreme Commander is old as fuck, and was OK. I bought it on a disc originally!

Squad - I am getting burned out by it. Can't speak for everyone else, but I don't feel we've had the most amazing experiences playing it the past few times.

Space Hulk: Deathwing - Seems kinda hit or miss atm. Apparently devs are working on it and the atmosphere is pretty good, but it is still a bit buggy.

Aragami - Haven't seen it 'till now, but looks like a cool stealth game. Could get it for the coop. Know how many players the coop is?

Pulsar: Lost Colony - Believe this was a 4 player coop game where you need (?) all players to properly operate the ship. Apollo has it, but I think we needed more people before it's worth it.

Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance - Aaaaaall yours, :9

Northgard - looked pretty sweet. Supposed to be a somewhat simple RTS with boardgame elements. Reviews seem very good, seems to have some unique aspects to it.

Aragami is only 2 player co-op so I'm probably skipping.

So far I've bought Squad and SupCom and nothing else that's multiplayer, and can't see anything I will
